Decision
This matter came on for case management on April 22, 2015, the union having recently filed 82
pages of particulars. Having heard the submissions of the parties, the Board hereby orders as
follows:
1. The grievances filed on or before April 22, 2015 by the union on behalf of
the grievor are consolidated;
2. No further or subsequent grievances filed after April 22, 2015 by the
union on behalf of the grievor will be dealt with in these proceedings;
3. The union has provided particulars to the end of 2014; the union will
provide supplementary particulars for any further grievances up to and
including April 22, 2015;
4. The issue of the employer’s obligation to file reply particulars and whether
the union’s particulars are within the scope of the grievances will be dealt
with on the next scheduled day of hearing. The parties will advise each
other of their positions in these regards in advance of the hearing;
5. The employer will endeavor to deal with all preliminary matters on the
next hearing date.
