DECISION
On consent of the pa~cies, the Board hereby makes the following
award:
1. The dismissal of Hrs. Sahadeo is rescinded.
2. The employer agrees to compensate Mrs. Sahadeo for loss of
short termsick credits as detailed in the interim award dated
June 30, 1989.
3. The employer will reinstate the grievor as an employee on the
inactive payroll as of the date of her eligibility for LTIP
benefits in December, 1988.
4. The period from June 18th, 1988 until co_mm_encement of LTIP
benefits will be treated as short term sick leave.
5. The employer shall recredit Mrs. Sahadeo with seniority.in
accordance with the collective agreement as if she had not
been dismissed.
6. The employer assures the grievorthat she will be entitled to
submit claims for any services whichqualify~for payment under
the insurance package which were required between the date of
her dismissal and the date of this settlement.
7. The grievor's coverage under the insurance package shall be
deemed.not interrupted by her dismissal.
8. Vacation and other monetary benefits shall be reinstated in
accordance with the collective agreement.
9. Mrs. Sahadeo*s p~nsion credits will be adjusted to reflect her
entitlement as if she had not been dismissed.
10. The employer will provide the grievor with a statement
outlining her accrued benefits as of the date of dismissal,
and subsequent adjustments as of the date of this settlement.
11~ The Grievance Settlement Board will remain seized in the event
there is a dispute over the implementation of this award..
