APPEARANCES FOR THE
COLLEGE: BRENDA BOWLBY, COUNSEL
APPEARANCES FOR THE
UNION: RICHARD P. STEPHENSON, COUNSEL
A HEARING IN THIS MATTER WAS HELD AT LONDON ON JUNE 23RD, 1992.
After hearing submissions of counsel concerning the
Union's grievance dated September 17th, 1991, and having considered
the request of the Union to adjourn these proceedings, the Board
allowed that request and adjourned sine die.
As the grievance concerns among other things the
application of Articles 4 and 11 of the Collective Agreement which
was raised as a preliminary objection to the Board's jurisdiction
in this matter and as that is the same issue to be dealt with by
the Court of Appeal in another case, the present dispute may be
brought on again for hearing following the Court's decision.
DATED AT OAKVILLE, THIS~% DAY OF JUNE, 1992.
D. BROWN, CHAIRMAN
(for the Board)
