DECISION
This is a discharge grievance. At the commencement 'of
the hearing, the parties Jointly moved that this proceeding
be adjourned sine die.
The Board was advised that as a result of the alleged
incidents that led to the griever's discharge, a number of
criminal charges had'also been laid against him. The criminal
proceedings were still continuing at the time this grievance
came before the Board. It was the parties' submission that
this proceeding should be adjourned until the criminal
proceeding is concluded. The parties presented to the Board
terms of adjournment which had been agreed upon by the
part/es. It was submitted that those terms of adjournment
addressed any concerns the Board may have about granting the
adjournment.
Having regard to the agreement of the parties, the Board
hereby consents to adjourn this proceeding sine die, subject
to the terms agreed upon.
This panel of the Board will not be seized of this matter
