SETTLEMENT BOARD
BETWEEN:
ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES UNION

MINUTES OF SETTLEMENT
WHEREAS the union filed grievances dated June 20, 1989 and luly 6,
1990 in respect of two job postings for the position of Cashier, the parties hereto
agree, without prejudice and without precedent, to the full and final settlement of
the grievances as follows:
· 1. The Employer will post the position of Cashier without a time limit as to the
duration of the position;
2. The Employer will disregard any experience in the position from May 10, 1989
until the competition in paragraph 1;
3. The union hereby withdraws the grievance bearing GSB No. 1297/90
altogether and withdraws the grievance bearing GSB No. 915/89 to the extent
it pertains to the position of Cashier.
4. This settlement will take effect when made an order of the Grievance
Settlement Board, and the parties hereby consent to such an order.
5. The Grievance Settlement Board shall retain jurisdiction with respect to the
implementation of this award.
