The parties have agreed to the following order being issued by the
Board:
1. The Employer shall reclassify the positions held by the Grievors
(Senior Technicians, Plans) from the Drafter 2 to Data Processing Technician 6
classification effective September 7, 1989.
2. The Grievance Settlement Board panel in this matter shall remain
seized with respect to the issues of salary level within the Data Processing
Technician 6 classification and the availability of further retroactivity prior to
September 7, 1989, in case the best efforts of the parties to negotiate a mutually
agreeable solution fail to resolve these matters.
3. The grievances shall be adjourned pending further settlement
negotiations.
4. This agreement is made without prejudice or precedent to any of the
parties.
