MF/~ORANDUM O~ SETTLEMENT
Between
THE. ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES UNION

And
THE CROWN IN RIGHT OF ONT~RIO
(Ministry of Culture and Communications)
Without prejudice and without precedent, the parties hereto have
agreed to the following as full and final settlement of the
above-noted grievances:
1. The M~nistry acknowledges that the grievor, Mr. choule~,
: should have been declared the successful candidate for the
position of Archivist in competition #MCC 3/90.
2. The Ministry agrees to appoint the grievor to the position
of Archivist, classified at the Archivist 3 level,
retroactive to September 10, 1990, and to pay to the grievor
the lump sum of $117~.41 (less statutory.deductions) to
account for the difference between the salary for the
Archivist 3 position and the salary actually received by the
grievor.
3. The grievor agrees to withdraw his request and any'appeals
under the Freedom of Information and Protection of
Individual Privacy Act for questions and answers, used in
'competitions for Archivist positions.
4. The Union and the grievor agree to immediately withdraw the
above-noted grievance and the subsequent grievance dated
March 6, 1991.
5. The parties agree to request that the Grievance Settlemant
Board make this settlement an order of the Board.
