(hereinafter referred to as "The. Ministry")

MI_NWI'. ES OF SETTLEMENT
The parties hereby ~o resolve all grievances of Marcia .Hallaen against the Ministry on a without
prejudice and precedent manne, r in the following way:
(1) It is understood that~orking conditions Collective Agreement between the Managemem
'Board of Cabinet and O.P3,E.U. covering the period from January I, 1989 to December

(2) The Ministry agrees to place the Grievor's name on the surplus list at the OAG-5 level
for the period of ~ix months from the date of final execution of this agreement.
(3) The Grievor's seniority date for the purposes of paragraph 2 is September 6, 1988.
(4) It is understood by the parties that Articles 24.6, 24.7 24.8, 24.10.4, 24.16.1 and 24.16.2
will not apply to the Grievor.
(5) This settIement is not to be taken as an admission of liability by the Ministry and in fact
The Grievor and the iUnion withdraw the following Grievances:
a) July 5 1991 - (Exceeding Authority)
b) July 5, 1991- (Competition)
c) July 17, i99I - (Dismissal for Cause)
d) July 17, 1991 - (Improper Classification)
(6) This Memorandum of Settlement is to be made an Order'~f the Grievance Settlement
Board.
