The parties resolved the grievance of Mr Fisher at the hearing
and asked that the settlement be an order of the Board The
minutes of settlement stated
In the matter of the grievance lodged by the
Grievor and the Union concerning the results
of the job competition SG 17/93 and SG 22/93,
without prejudice or precendent, the
aforementioned parties agreed to the
following terms as full and final settlement.
The Employer agrees to
_.
1 Appoint the Grievor to the position
of Fire Services Investigator 1 in
the Sudbury region at a date to be
specified by the grievor within seven
days from the date of this agreement
2. Reimburse the grievor for moving and
relocation expenses as per the
ontario Government's Policy on Moving
and Relocation expenses
The Union and the Grievor agree to
1 Withdraw the above-noted grievance;
2 Release the employer from any and all
claims to the circumstances which
have given rise to this grievance
The Union agrees to
1. Waive the posting requirement in
Article 4 of the Collective Agreement
for the Sudbury position
2 Waive the surplus requirement in
Article 24 of the Collective
Agreement for the Sudbury position
Dated this 28th day of June 1995
Duly signed by the grievor, the Union, and the Employer

In accordance with the agreement of the parties, the terms of the
foregoing shall constitute order of this Board and the parties are
hereby directed to comply with the same
