MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT
WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND WITHOUT PRECEDENT, the parties
agree to the following terms and conditions as full
and final settlement of the grievances as set out in
paragraph 7 below
1. The Ministry will appoint the Grievor, Louise Bonney,
to the full-time position of Income Maintenance
Officer ("IMO"), at the level of Welfare Field
Worker 2 classification, effective August 22, 1995
2. The Grievor's salary will remain at $1,697.34
bi-weekly (being $44,282 39 per annum), the first
step of the Welfare Field Workers 2 salary range,
with an established anniversary date of
September 1, 1996

3 The Grievor will remain at the 815 Danforth Avenue
Office of the Toronto Area Office for the duration
of her temporary assignment, 12 months from May 8,
1995. At that time, the Ministry will place the
Grievor in a full-time IMO position, within the
Toronto Area Office, the location to be determined
at that time.
4. Notwithstanding paragraph 3, the parties agree that
if a full-time IMO vacancy arises at the 815 Danforth
Avenue Office during the 12 month temporary assignment,
the Ministry will appoint the Grievor to that vacancy
5. The parties acknowledge that the grievor has the same
rights as all other IMO'S to apply for a lateral
transfer within the Toronto Area Office at any time
during the 12 months period at the temporary assignment
If a lateral transfer is granted, paragraph 3 or 4
(as the case may be) will no longer apply
6. The parties acknowledge that this assignment will be
governed by the terms and conditions of the Social
Contract Framework.
7. The Grievor and the Union agree to withdraw the
following IMO-competition related grievences
grievance of competition TAO-1, filed April 22,1994
(GSB File #1927/94),
grievance of competition TAO-1A, filed July 26, 1994
(GSB File #2266/94),

May 2, 1995
8 The parties agree to have this settlement made an
Order, without precedent or prejudice, of the
Grievance Settlement Board
