The parties signed Minutes of Settlement on October 14, 2014. Pursuant to the Minutes of Settlement the employer agreed to provide training in human rights/equity/diversity and workplace violence/harassment and bullying within twelve months of the execution of the Minutes. [2] The employer concedes that it breached the Minutes of Settlement by failing to comply with the time lines provided for in the Minutes. [3] The employer has made it clear that it takes issues such as human rights/equity/diversity and workplace violence/harassment and bullying very seriously and is committed to training employees on acceptable conduct in the workplace.
