Good Afternoon Alex,
I am contacting you to inform you that Sienna Senior Living has entered into an agreement to purchase
BayBridge (Alliston) Inc. ("the Owner"). The agreement will be finalized in the coming months, subject
to regulatory and lender approval, at which point the ownership and management of Kingsmere Suites
Retirement Residence will transfer to Sienna Senior Living.
If all regulatory and lender approvals are met, Sienna Senior Living will become the employer of all
employees in the bargaining unit in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the current
Collective Agreement with OPSEU.
I have attached the announcement and communication that is being distributed to all Team Members
for your reference.

Dear Kingsmere Retirement Living Team Members,
We are writing to let you know that BayBridge Seniors Housing has entered into an agreement to sell
Kingsmere Retirement Living to Sienna Senior Living. The transaction will be finalized in the coming
months, subject to regulatory and lender approval, at which point the ownership and management of
Kingsmere will transfer to Sienna Senior Living.
The terms of your employment will be substantially similar to what you have today. Sienna Senior Living
will become your new employer and you will receive pay cheques from them. The Sienna team knows
the value that your service brings to Kingsmere residents every day, and they look forward to building a
long-lasting relationship with you.
Sienna Senior Living will work with BayBridge on a smooth transition for residents and team members.
Like BayBridge, Sienna is committed to providing a high-quality lifestyle experience for its residents and
making Sienna a great place to work. As a leading provider in Canada, its team is passionate about
senior living.
The Sienna Senior Living management team will meet with residents and team members at Kingsmere
within the coming weeks.
As you are all aware, our company strategy has migrated toward the development, ownership and
operation of Amica-branded communities where we can provide a continuum of care in principally
urban markets. Having said that, Kingsmere has been part of our family for quite some time and we
wish you and your residents all the best.
