Decision
[1] This matter came on for hearing on February 9, 2912. At that time the parties dealt with
a claim by the grievor pursuant to article COR14 for indemnification of his civil and criminal
legal expenses arising from the incident of September 21, 2010. The Union has provided the
Employer with an estimate of the amounts involved, which deals with all outstanding
indemnification issues.
[2] Having heard the submissions of the parties, I hereby order that the Employer reimburse
the grievor his civil and criminal legal costs pursuant to article COR14 upon the provision by the
grievor of receipts for the payment of same. This order is made without precedential value and
pursuant to article 22.16.
[3] I remain seised to deal with any implementation issues arising from this decision.
Dated at Toronto this 21st day of February 2012.
Daniel Harris, Vice-Chair
