BETWEEN:
AND:
Miss L. Siviter
Mrs. G. Chessell
Mrs. J. Depencibr
Mrs. H. Murray
Mrs. C. Devins
Mrs. .L. Villeneuve
Mrs. D. Wright
The Ministry of Health
North Bay Psychiatric Hospital
January 10, 1977
Whereas each of the employees, Miss L. Siviter, Mrs. G. Chessell,
Mrs. J. Depencier, Mrs. H. Murray, Mrs. C. Devins, Mrs. L.
Villeneuve, and Mrs. 0. Wright, formally grieved under the
provisions of the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act
against the suspensions imposed upon them by the employer
as a result of certain events which transpired on November 19th
and 20th, 1975,
And these grievances having been resisted by the Ministry
of Health,
And these grievances having been referred to the Grievance
Settlement Board for disposition by it,
And the parties being desirous to resolve their differences
in an expeditious a manner as possible,
And the parties being agreed that in the particular
circumstances, and in consideration of waiving their rights
under the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act that I,
sitting as a sole umpire, should resolve these matters
without written reasons,
Therefore, and excepting Mrs. D. Wright whose grievance was
formally withdrawn, and Mrs. L. Villeneuve whose absence
precluded her giving her consent to the procedure described
above, it is hereby decided that:
The grievances of Miss L. Siviter and Mrs. G.
Chessell be allowed and that they be granted
the relief they have claimed,
The grievances of Mrs. J. Depencier, Mrs. H.
Murray and Mrs. C. Devins be dismissed.
Dated at Toronto this 13th day of January 1977.
