ADDENDUM
I have reviewed the Awarµ of the Vice-Chairman and
_ust, regretfully, concur with it.
However, in my opinion the discipline the grievor
_eceived was out of proportion and excessive in relation to that
received' by Corporals Rolfe and Huxtab=e. It appears that the
:_ngth of the grievor ' s suspension was in large part imposed as a
result of a suspicion of the grievor ' s inability to .account for the
:keys was deliberate. This Board could not find that the grievor's
_nability to account for the keys was in. any way wilful .
Despite the problems the Board encountered with
Sir. Taminen 's evidence, and his inability to account for the key-
ring, I would have altered his penalty to a one-day suspension and
zompensated him for four days ' lost wages and benefits .
