INTEfUM DECISION
When the hearing in this case was convened on June 3, 1981,
counsel for the griever informed the Board that counsel originally retained
to represent the grievor ws unable to be present because of the death of a
family member and that her instructions were to request an adjournment
cn that ground. The representative of the employer brought to the
attention of the Board that the griever and the employer’s two witnesses
(who were present) were empldyed in Algonquin Park and that their
absence from their posts at this season was highly detrimental to Park
operations. He did not oppose an adjournment but requested that if it were
to be granted, the case not be re-listed for hearing until a date in October
when the Park would be closed. The Board granted the request for
adjournment subject to the condition that the new hearing be heid after
October I, 1981.
The matter is remitted to the Registrar to be re-listed for
hearing.
The present panel of the Board shall be deemed to be no longer
seized of the matter.
