The Board hereby orders the parties to complt with the terms of
the .settlement entered.into this 8th day of March, 1989, by the
employer, the Union and the grievors.

MINUTES OF SETTLEMENT
WHEREAS thirty-eight grievors named in Schedule "A" hereto are
ward clerks who have grieved that they are improperly classified
at the Office Administration Group 3 level; and
WHEREAS their grievances have been processed for arbitration
under Grievance Settlement Board file numbers 2055/86, 2056/86,
2057/86, 2058186, 2059/86, 2060/86, 2061/86, 2074/86, 2084/86,
62/87, 190/87, 316/87, 416187, 1196/87, 1376187,‘ and 2403187

198/88;
Without prejudice and without precedent, the parties, being the
Union, the Ministry and the grievors, agree to the full and final
settlement of the foregoing grievances as follows:
1. The Ministry shall convert each grievor to the Office
Administration Group 5 level effective December 31, 1985,
provided that the gireovr held/the position of ward clerk at
that date. Those grievors who did not hold the position of
ward clerk until after December 31, 1985 will be converted
to the Office Administration Group 5 level effective the
date they assumed the position of ward clerk.
2. It shall be a condition of the settlement that each and
every grievor agree to it by attaching her/his signature to
Schedule "A " . This condition may be waived where a
grievance has been withdrawn and the Ministry and the
Grievance Settlement Board have been notified in writing of
the withdrawal.
3. The union and the grievors hereby withdraw the above-
captioned grievances.
4. This settlement shall be effective when it has been

incorporated into an order of the Grievance Settlement
Board. The parties hereby consent to such an order.
