Wilkey Counsel Cornish & Associates Barristers & Solicitors K. Cribbie Staff Relations Advisor Human Resources Branch Ministry of Transportation May 24, 1988 DECISION RE G.S.B. File #2420/87 MS. Wilkey advised the Board that the grievance has been withdrawn. The grievance will therefore, be recorded as withdrawn. RE G.S.B. File #2421/87 Ms. Wilkey advised us that she had been retained to represent the Grievor and OPSEU. She informed the Board at the commencement of the hearing that a difference of opinion had arisen between the Grievor and OPSEU to the point that the interests of the Grievor and OPSEU did not coincide. As a result, Ms. Wilkey stated that she could no longer represent the Grievor. Furthermore, she informed us that she could no longer act in this matter for OPSEU since she had become privy to the Grievor's position. In the circumstances, Ms. Wilkey was withdrawing as legal counsel for both the Grievor and OPSEU. Both Ms. Wilkey and the Grievor asked for an adjournment. Mr. Cribbie asked the Board to proceed with the hearing since the matter is of long standing, We have no alternative but to grant an adjournment if for no other reason than that we will not compel the Grievor to proceed without counsel. The matter will be adjourned to proceed on a date to be scheduled by the Registrar Dated at Toronto this 27th day of June, 1988 ,:“,.... i,c~ ,- . . -:, . I M. W. Wright Q..C!;.
