July 25, 1991 After the Board convened th* hearing and heard opening statements from the parties, the hearing recessed to allow the parties to canvass the possibility of reaching an agreed statement of facts. During this interval, the parties reached a settlement of the issues outstanding and requested that the agreed terms be incorporated as the award of this Board. Accordingly the Board orders that the tzrins of the minutes of settlement as hereinafter set forth be incorporated as the award of this Board: 3 p’ Memorandum of Settlement The Grievor, the Union and the ivlinistry agree to the following tams as full and final settlement of this matter, without precedent or prejudice; (I) Phe Ministry agrees to pay to the Grievor the amount of one thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1,250.03), minus mandatory deductions required by laur, within three (3) w22ics of the date of this settlement. (2) The Grievor agrees to provide docmantatioh to the Ministry regarding the installation of a security alarm system at the hme of his parents i.hBurlingtcn at a cost approximating the amount paid to the Grievor in paragraph 1 or more. 1 (3) rhe documentation referred to in paragraph 2 will be provided : to the Ministry within four (i) months of payment to the grievor. (4) iThe fiinistry admits no responsibility or liability with respect to the suoject of the grievance. (5) The grievor and the Unicn agree to withdraw. the grievance.
