HEARING SCHEDULEDApril 14, 1999
Board Order
Individual job competition grievances filed by P. Conlin and C. Herman
are scheduled to be heard before the Board on April 14, 1999. The union has
requested an order that the employer produce to it, the personnel files of
each of the employees who were successful in the job competition. The
employer has not objected to this request.
The Board is satisfied that the personnel files may contain information
relevant to the issues in these grievances. Accordingly, the Board hereby
orders that the personnel files in question be produced to the union as soon
as practicable in advance of the scheduled hearing. The union shall treat
the information contained in those files with confidentiality and use the
same solely for the purposes of this proceeding.
