Radley Staff Relations Officer Personnel Branch Ministry of Correctional Services Hearing: October 5, 1984 After the hearing had commenced, the parties agreed upon an Order and asked the Board to incorporate it in an Award. We are pleased to do so particularly .given our own view that the settlement reached between the parties is fair and appropriate+ Therefore, on consent (1) the arbitration is adjourned sine die on the following terms: (i) He is reinstated forthwith. (ii) In any event, he receives no compensation for the period off work. ' (iii) He is to be treated as though the probation under the Act is over; (iv) However, for the next twelve (12) months, he-is subject to having any problems, including a failure to improve his attendance brought back before the Board, which will remain seized for,such purpose and can be reconvened on short notice, if necessary at 4:00 p.m. (2) If there are no problems at the end of the twelve (12) months, an order will issue allow- ing the grievance and reinstating formally 1 -3- the grievor without compensation.
