At the hetig’into the continuation of this matter, the parties resohwd the grievances and .
asked the board to order that agreement into effect. The parties agreed, and this board

Now therefore, the Union, the NPC, and the Grievor agreed as. follows in full and final i
’ settlement of GSB File #3g?/92 and GSB #0992/93:’

1. The Niagara Parks Commission agrees to post the next vacant
‘-Sergeant position.
2. The Niagara Parks Commission agrees that Derek Cuthbertson will
be appointed & an acting sergeant fkom the date of the Niiara
Parks Commjssion’s determirkon of the next Sergeant vacancy to
the date which is the end, of the posting period for that vacancy
pursuant to Article 7.01 of the collective agreement. The Niagara
Par@~ Commission may consider,.in its sole discretion, to extend such
acting appointment for a longer period. -

3. The Job Competition panel for said job competition will consist of
Chief Ray Vass&llo qd Barbara Amdt‘,Human Resources Director.
4. Detik Cuthbertson recognizes and agrees that this settlhment is not
an admission os li&ilie by the Niagara Parks Commission or any of
its employees.
The settlement was duly signed on behalf of the parties.
