DECISION
The parties agree to the following without precedent or prejudice, as fi. all and
final settlement regarding these grievances:
1. The grievors agree to repay Management at Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre
the amounts paid out at the end of March, 1989 to the grievors for overtime
compensatory lieu time for calendar year of 1988;
2. The above-noted amounts will be deducted from the employees' bi-weekly pay
cheques during a period to commence as soon as reasonably possible and
ending no later than December 31, 1989; :
3. The grievors will receive an equivalent number of hours compensatory lieu time
as that paid out in Section t of this decision for the 1988 calendar year
accumulation to be carried over into 1989 which is to be used between
December 1, 1989 and March 31, 1990;
4. The grievors and the Union agree to withdraw the grievances;
5. The Grievance Settlement Board will remain seized of this issue pending any
problems the parties have in implementing this decision.
