At the second day of hearing in this matter the parties ¡
were able to resolve the grievance and entered into minutes i
of settlement. The following are the ter.ms of the minutes
of settlement:
On a without prejudice and without precedent basis the i
¡
parties agree as follows:
(a) the appraisal dated April 4, 1990 (7 pages) which (
was the subject matter of this grievance shall be
removed from the grievor's personnel file and
destroyed
(b) a unew appraisalll will be conducted for the grievor
covering the period from September 1989 to January
1, 1991
(c) the new appraisal will be conducted by Ms. Ruth
Steele
(d) Ms. Edith How will participate in the new appraisal
meeting in the role of facilitator to assist Ms.
Steele and Ms. Macponald in arriving at a mutually
acceptable appraisal form
(e) The grievance dated April 26, 1990 is withdrawn
-.
(f) This settlement has no 'effect upon Ms. MacDonald' s
right to file a grievance in relation to the new
appraisal, if she desires to do so
(g) This settlement shall be made an order of the
Grievance Settlement Board
In accordance with paragraph (g), the provisions of

the minutes of the settlement hereby constitute an order of
the Board.
