MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT
IN THE MATTER OF A GRIEVANCE
BEFORE THE
GRIEVANCE SETTLEMENT BOARD
BETWEEN:
ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES UNION

I~ full and final settlement'of the above captioned classification ....
grievances as recorded on Appendices "A" and "B" of this Memorandum
of Settlement, the parties agree without prejudice or precedent to
resolve the matter on the following terms:
1. The Employer shall create a new class standard which
accurately reflects the duties and responsibilities of
the Grievors within one hundred and eighty days of the
date the Memorandum of Settlement is made an order of the
Grievance Settlement Board.
2. The rate of pay in respect to the new classification
shall be determined in accordance with the Collective
Agreement.
3. The grievors shall be reclassified to the classification
referred to in paragraph #1 (above) effective twenty
working days prior to the date of their individual
grievances as recorded on Appendices "A" and "B" of this
settlement.
4. Should any payment be made to the grievors in'respect of
retroactive wages pursuant to paragraph #1 (above) such
payments shall bear interest calculated in accordance
with the formula as set out in the Hallowell House case.
5. The parties agree that this settlement shall be made an
order of the Grievance Settlement Board.
