Decision
The parties referred Walter Hanlon?s grievance dated October 17, 2005 to mediation-arbitration
in accordance with Article 22.16 of the Collectiv e Agreement. The grievance alleges that
management violated the overtime protocol on September 6, 2005.
At the outset of the hearing, the parties agreed that I had the jurisdiction to deal with this matter
and they requested that I issue a without prejudice decision, with no reasons.
Having carefully reviewed the submissions of th e parties as well as the jurisprudence of the
Board, I hereby grant the grievance and order the employer to pay the grievor ten (10) hours at
the overtime rate.
