Attached is the Memorandum of Settlement which the parties
agreed would be made an Order of the Board.

The partIes agree on a Without prejudice or precedent baSIS and Without adnussIon of any
liability on the part of the employer to the follOWing tenns as full and final settlement of
the above noted grievances.
1 The above noted gnevances shall be Withdrawn by the O.P S.E U and the Gnevors
upon the Employer's ImplementatIon of the attached shift schedules covenng
Madoc, PIcton and Napanee bases effectIve January 10, 1993
2. The Employer shall undertake to make Its' best efforts to consult With the local
executIve comnuttee regarding Significant long tenn changes to the attached sinft
schedules. Notinng 10 this Memorandum of Settlement shall restnct the
Employer's nght to make such changes.
3 O.P S.E.U and the Grievors agree that the tenns of tins Memorandum of Settlement
are in full satIsfactIOn of any clauns for compensation or any other remedy clauned
or ans10g from the ,above noted gnevances.
4 The parties agree that tins Memorandum of Settlement shall be incorporated into an
order of the Gnevance Settlement Board.
S Tins Memorandum of Settlement shall be of no force and effect unless the parties
execute a Memorandum of Settlement with respect to gnevances conta1Oed 10

liability on the part of the employer to the follOWing terms as full and final settlement of
the above noted gnevances
1 The Employer agrees to recall to full tIme ambulance officer dutIes the Gnevors - Jeff
Burgess, Randy Smder, Gyrald Buss, Bill Elsasser and Kay McCabe - With no loss
of semonty
2. O.P S,E U and the Gnevors agree that the terms of tins Memorandum of Settlement
are in full satIsfaction of any clmms for compensation or any other remedy claimed
or arISing from the above noted grievances.
3 Recall of Gnevors named In paragraph # 1 shall become effective upon the
ImplementatlOn of the new slnft schedule starting January 10, 1993
4 The Employer will abIde by the terms of the Collective Agreement In effect WIth
respect to any future lay-offs should they occur
5 The O.P S.E.U and the Grievors agree to withdraw the above noted gnevances.
6 The parties agree that tins Memorandum of Settlement shall be Incorporated Into an
order of the Grievance Settlement Board.
7 Tins Memorandum of Settlement shall be of no force and effect unless the partIes
execute a Memorandum of Settlement with respect to gnevances contamed In
