DECISION
The gnevor m thIS case IS claImmg that he was Improperly demed the
posItIOn of mcome mamtenance officer In hIS vIew, the competItIOn was
conducted m an unfair manner The facilIty m WhICh the posItIOn m questIOn
was located IS no longer open, therefore It IS no longer possible for the
gnevor to obtam the mcome mamtenance officer Job WhICh he sought.
The partIes m thIS case have requested that I Issue a decISIOn m an
expedItIOus fashIOn. Accordmgly, after havmg carefully consIdered the
submIssIOns of the partIes, I hereby make the followmg declaratIOns
1) That the MImstry IS to pay to the gnevor as damages for pam and
suffenng the amount of$l1,OOO 00 wIthm three weeks of the date of thIS
decIsIOn,
11) That once the above-noted sum has been paid, the gnevance shall be
termmated,
In the event that the partIes have any dIfficultIes Implementmg thIS award, I
shall remam seIzed.
