MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT
Wrthout prejudice and without precedent, the parties agree to the following as full and
final settlement of the above-captioned grievance
1 The Employer shall pay the Grievor the sum of $52,358.73 less applicable statutory -
deductions, in two equal installments. The first installment shall be paid within four
(4) weeks after the date of these Minutes of Settlement, and the second installment
shall be paid within four (4) weeks after January 1, 1996.
2. The dismissal of the Grievor dated June 10, 1994 shall be rescinded, and all
references to the dismissal shall be removed from the Grievor's files. The Grievor
shall resign her employment with the Employer effective June 10, 1994 as per the
attached Jetter of resignation (Appendix A)
3. The Employer shall provide a letter to the Grievor in the form provided in Appendix
B In the event that the Employer is asked to provide a reference for the Grievor I
the Employer shall limit the information given to the information provided in
Appendix B.
4 The Employer agrees to allow the Grievor to roll over a portion of the amount
payable under Clause 1 into an RRSP, to the extent allowed by law, on receipt of
the applicable form or forms
5. These Minutes of Settlement shall be made an Order of the Grievance Settlement
Board,
6. The Union and the Grievor withdraw the above-captioned grievance.
I 7 The Union and the Grievor waive any entitlement to any payments under the
collective agreement. Employment Standards Act and Public SeNice Act.
