Decision
In a deCISIOn dated March 17 1987 I found that a 10 dm suspensIOn 1m
posed m September 19f;5 was eXc:eSSlVe and mrecred as follows

The partIes were unable to agree on compensation. and the matter was rAsched-
uled for hearll1g
Based 011 mformatIOn provIded and agreements made at that further
hparmg I determmed that as a rpsult of the empli)n~r's ImposItlon of the exceSSf\'e
penalty the gnevor had suffered a wage loss of $1352 48 over the perIOd Septem
bel' :27 to ~ovember 29 1995 mclusIve and that $124 f)2 was the approprlate
amount of mterest to compensate for the loss of use of that amount up to and Ir-
dudmg September 5 1997 the date on \VhICh the employer expects to pav the
compensatIOn Accordmgly I ordered that the pmplO'rer to pm the gne\'or
