INTERIM DECISION
The parties are agreed that the gr1evance dated May 13,
1996 1S properly before me and is timely It bears GSB file
number 0753/96. The grievance states
The employer has violated my rights under the collective
agreement, i e Article 24 and any other relevant articles,
by failing to allow me to properly exercise my bumping
rights and be considered for other work that I have done
other than driving, eg mail duties
Having reviewed the submissions of the parties and the
documents and cases provided, I conclud~ that the above
grievance is sufficently broadly stated to permit this board
to cons1der evidence pertain1ng to allegations of harassment
and discrimination and/or violation(s) of Art A 1.1 (Art 3
in the January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1998 collective
agreement) .
