Steinberg GRIEVOR Counsel Koskie & Minsky Barristers & Solicitiors FOR THE E Keenan EMPLOYER Counsel Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark Barristers & Solicitors HEARING March 14, 1997 -- DECISION This matter involved a number of grievances of Allan Bezanson and Chad Ikert, including a suspension and termination from employment As a result of a Memorandum of Settlement entered into between the Union, the grievors and the Employer, the grievors were reinstated to employment The quantum of damages was the only outstanding issue before me. In all of the circumstances, and having heard the submissions of counsel, I am of the opinion that the grievors should be compensated in the amount of $3,000.00 each, less applicable statutory and mandatory deductions as a result of their respective suspensions and terminations from employment This resolves all of the grievances that were referred to me Dated at Toronto, this 14th day of March, 1997 ml~j~ S L Stewart - Vice- Chair I~r-"'-" ,-- .-,- \ I I .
