1 ThIs matter arose out of the MInIStry'S backlog of cases at the GSB HavIng
heard the submIssIOns of the partIes, the Board orders as follows
2 The gnevor, Robert Hall, wIll be assIgned to the posItIOn of AquatIc TOXICIty
Standards SCIentIst, classIfied as a SCIentIst III and paid at the maXImum rate of
$100693 per week, at 125 Resources Road, Toronto, Ontano
3 The employer wIll pay both the employer's and the gnevor's contributIOns to
the OPSEU PenSIOn Trust for the penod from the gnevor's layoff on July 14, 1997
to June 5, 2000
4 The gnevor's absence wIll be treated as a specIal leave wIthout pay
5 The employer wIll pay the gnevor $3000 00 wIthout deductIOns except for
umon dues
6 In the event the gnevor decIdes to relocate hIS resIdence, the employer wIll not
be lIable for reImbursement of relocatIOn expenses
7 The partIes and the gnevor have abandoned any other claim eIther may have to
compensatory damages or recovery of funds however charactenzed.
