Memorandum of Settlement form part of thIS order

MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT
BETWEEN THE
MINISTRY OF HEALTH (Employer) and
THE ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES UNION (Union)

The Partles agree to the following terms as full and fmal settlement of the above noted grievance.
1 The Employer agrees that as the policy (called PaId Patient Companion) IS reviewed by other
conunittees at Kingston Psychiatric Hospital prior to final approval, it will not amend those
sections of the Draft policy (as boldedllughlighted and dated January 27 1999), nor add language
that will contradict the language to which the PartIes have agreed in tllis Memorandum of
Settlement.
2. The Settlement shall be made an order of the Grievance Settlement Board (Vice Chair - D J
LeIghton)
3 The ArbItrator shall remain seized III case there are any difficulties WIth the implementatIOn of the
Memorandum of Agreement.
4 The Union agrees to withdraw the above noted gnevance.
