DeCISIon
On September 26 2002 Mr Stuart Kmght gneved that "the employer has vIOlated specIfically
but not exclusIvely artIcle 2 and 9 of the collectIve agreement by faIlIng to reImburse the
gnevor's legal costs" The partIes referred thIS gnevance to medIatIOn/arbItratIOn In accordance
wIth artIcle 22 16 of the collectIve agreement.
At the outset of the heanng, the partIes agreed that I had the JunsdIctIOn to deal wIth thIS matter
and they asked that I Issue a decISIOn, wIthout wntten reasons HavIng carefully consIdered the
submIssIOns of the partIes, as well as the Junsprudence of the board, I find that there IS no ment
to the gnevance and It IS therefore hereby dIsmIssed.
