Dunng a conference call on November 4 2004 counsel for the Employer requested an
adJournment ofa heanng scheduled for November 18 2004 A heanng was scheduled for
November 18 2004 to address a gnevance of Wayne Miller a meat Inspector The gnevance
raises Issues concermng the Employer's ImplementatIOn of a Memorandum of Settlement
entered Into by the partIes In November 2003 In makIng the adJ ournment request, counsel noted
some dIfficultIes In the receIpt of the notIce of proceedIng and the fact that her advIsor IS unable
to attend the heanng on November 18 2004 Counsel for the Umon opposed the adJournment
request.
HavIng regard to the cIrcumstances, I find It appropnate to adJourn the heanng scheduled
for N ovemberl8 2004 After dISCUSSIng an alternatIve date wIth counsel, the heanng wIll now
take place on November 26 2004 The RegIstrar wIll send the partIes a notIce of heanng In due
course
