ThIS gnevor faIled to appear at the heanng scheduled Into thIS matter
Some tIme after the scheduled start tIme of the heanng the partIes ascertaIned that the
gnevor was at work. WhIle It mIght have been possIble to further delay the start of the heanng to
facIlItate the gnevor's arnval from HamIlton, the partIes agreed that would have been an
IneffiCIent use of theIr tIme The partIes then agreed to adJourn the matter and new heanng dates
have now been set for October 29 2004 and November 8 and 9 2004 at the Gnevance
Settlement Board offices In Toronto
These new heanng dates, however wIll be peremptory on the gnevor Should he agaIn
fall to appear I wIll entertaIn any motIOn the employer may wIsh to make to have the
gnevance(s) In thIS matter dIsmIssed.
