DeCISIon
The PartIes referred these gnevances to medIatIOn/arbItratIOn In accordance wIth ArtIcle 22 16 of
the CollectIve Agreement. These gnevances Involve the gnevor's Job specIficatIOn and a J ob
competItIOn at the Central East CorrectIOnal Centre
At the outset of the heanng, the partIes agreed that I have JunsdIctIOn to decIde thIS matter and
requested a decIsIOn wIthout reasons
HavIng carefully revIewed the submIssIOns of the PartIes, I order that the gnevor shall be
assIgned to the AdmInIstratIve AssIstant OAG 8 posItIOn effectIve ImmedIately Further should
a vacancy occur for the Personnel Clerk, OAG 9 posItIOn WIthIn the folloWIng twelve (12)
months from the date of thIS decISIOn, the gnevor shall be appoInted to the posItIOn.
AccordIngly the aforementIOned gnevances are resolved.
