Ms K. Attndge has filed three gnevances, one of them a dIscharge gnevance whIch are
scheduled to be heard commenCIng November 30 2005 The Employer sought an adJournment
of the November 30 heanng date because Its advIsor has been summonsed to attend a cnmInal
proceedIng on that day The Umon opposed the adJournment and a conference call was held on
November 23 2005 to entertaIn submIssIOns relatIng to the Employer's request. After
consIdenng the submIssIOns, and for the reasons gIven dunng the conference call, I advIsed
counsel that I would grant the Employer's request to adJourn the November 30 heanng date In
the CIrcumstances In addItIOn to the five remaInIng heanng days scheduled prevIOusly counsel
agreed to add January 25 2006 as another heanng day
