DeCISIon
All SIX gnevors contend that they performed OPSEU members' work and dId not receIve the
appropnate wage, contrary to the collectIve agreement. The partIes reached an agreement at
Stage Two of the gnevance procedure to place the gnevances In abeyance pendIng the
dISposItIOn of the Barra"", et al cases (GSB #0561/99 and 0562/99) at the GSB A decIsIOn was
Issued by Vice-Chair Abramsky on December 1 2000 and the gnevances were dIsmIssed.
The partIes agreed that thIS matter was to be dealt wIth under the mediatIOn/arbItratIOn procedure
set out In Art. 22 16 of the collectIve agreement. The partIes have also requested that I Issue a
decIsIOn wIthout reasons
HavIng carefully revIewed the eVIdence presented and the submIssIOns of the partIes, It IS my
VIew that the gnevors' nghts are as set out In the Barra"", et al decIsIOn. As a result, the
gnevances are dIsmIssed.
