Decision
Having regard to the agreement of the parties, I hereby direct as follows:
1.
The union is to provide the employer with full particulars of the grievance
not later than one month in advance of the next hearing date. Within the
same time frame, the union will also advise of the remedies it will be
seeking.
2.
The employer has indicated that, when the hearing commences, it will be
raising preliminary matters, including an objection to the timeliness of the
grievance as well as an assertion that the matter has been previously settled.
Should the employer intend to raise any further preliminary issues it will,
not later than one week after receiving the union's particulars, advise the
union as to the nature of any such additional preliminary issues.
3.
The parties are directed to provide each other, not later than one week prior
to the next hearing date, with copies of all documents upon which they
intend to rely in these proceedings.
