Decision
The parties referred David Wicks' grievance dated December 8, 2002 (2002-0411-0041) to
mediation/arbitration in accordance with Article 22.16 of the Collective Agreement. The
grievance alleges that he was not paid properly when retroactive payments were made to
bargaining unit members after the strike in 2002.
At the outset of the hearing, the parties agreed that I had the jurisdiction to deal with this matter
and they requested that I issue a without prejudice decision, with no reasons in accordance with
Article 22.16.
Having carefully reviewed the submissions of the parties, including the applicable payroll
documents, it is clear that the grievor was paid correctly. Thus, I hereby dismiss the grievance.
