Decision
The parties agree to the following order on consent. The employer is hereby ordered to do the
following:
1) To develop a training program for employees at the Upper Canada Migratory Bird
Sanctuary on workplace policies for handling dangerous situations;
2) The training will include role playing exercises and shall be included in the spring
orientation;
3) The MERC Chair, Mr. Irvin King, and the Health and Safety Committee shall be given
an opportunity to participate in the development of the training;
4) The MERC Chair, or a member of the Health and Safety Committee, shall be present at
all the training sessions.
