Decision
At the mediation/arbitration on April 10, 2008, the parties agreed to adjourn the proceedings on
the following basis:
1.The grievor, through the Union, will initiate an appeal of the denial of long term
disability benefits.
2.The Employer will continue with its efforts to find suitable accommodation for
the grievor by forwarding all necessary information to the appropriate sources.
3.The Union will place this issue on the agenda of the Joint File Review Committee
for rescheduling.
4.The Employer will disclose to the Union the efforts it has made to date to find
suitable employment within and outside of the Ministry.
