Leighton Vice-Chair FOR THE UNION ice Employees Union FOR THE EMPLOYER Scott Andrews Ontario Public Serv Grievance Officer s s Laura McCready Ministry of Government Service Centre for Employee Relation Employee Relations Advisor HEARING November 16, 2011. - 2 - Decision [1] Mr. Richard Camman, a correctional officer at the Central East Detention Centre, grieved on March 19, 2007 that the employer “failed to pay my P4P for April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2005.” The employer submitted that it had not violated the collective agreement. [2] The parties referred this grievance to mediation/arbitration in accordance with Article 22.16 of the collective agreement. At the outset of the hearing the parties agreed that I had the jurisdiction to deal with this matter. They asked that I issue a decision without precedent or prejudice, and without written reasons in accord with the policy of the parties for expedited hearings under Article 22.16. [3] Having carefully considered the submissions of the parties, as well as the jurisprudence of the Board, I hereby dismiss the grievance. Dated at Toronto this 12th day of April 2012. Deborah J.D.
