IN THE MATTER OF DISPUTE BETWEEN: AND: Miss L. Siviter Mrs. G. Chessell Mrs. J. Depencibr Mrs. H. Murray Mrs. C. Devins Mrs. .L. Villeneuve Mrs. D. Wright The Ministry of Health North Bay Psychiatric Hospital January 10, 1977 Whereas each of the employees, Miss L. Siviter, Mrs. G. Chessell, Mrs. J. Depencier, Mrs. H. Murray, Mrs. C. Devins, Mrs. L. Villeneuve, and Mrs. 0. Wright, formally grieved under the provisions of the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act against the suspensions imposed upon them by the employer as a result of certain events which transpired on November 19th and 20th, 1975, And these grievances having been resisted by the Ministry of Health, And these grievances having been referred to the Grievance Settlement Board for disposition by it, And the parties being desirous to resolve their differences in an expeditious a manner as possible, And the parties being agreed that in the particular circumstances, and in consideration of waiving their rights under the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act that I, sitting as a sole umpire, should resolve these matters without written reasons, Therefore, and excepting Mrs. D. Wright whose grievance was formally withdrawn, and Mrs. L. Villeneuve whose absence precluded her giving her consent to the procedure described above, it is hereby decided that: The grievances of Miss L. Siviter and Mrs. G. Chessell be allowed and that they be granted the relief they have claimed, The grievances of Mrs. J. Depencier, Mrs. H. Murray and Mrs. C. Devins be dismissed. Dated at Toronto this 13th day of January 1977.
