Johnston - Associate Oirector Personnel Administration Personnel Branch Agriculture and Food Hearing: April 25th, 1977 Suite 405, 77 Bloor St. W., Toronto, Ontario ---. 2. In the grievances they filed with this Board, Ms. 0. Jameson, Ms. B. Tessaro, Ms. E. Randall, Ms. J. Gilfillan and Ms. L. Jirsa who were employed as Technicians 1, Chemical Laboratory in the Ministry's Central Milk Testing Laboratory in Guelph, Ontario, complained that, as such, they were improperly classified. Following the hearing into their complaint the Board indicated to the parties that it would withhold its decision pending a further attempt by the parties to resolve this matter along certain lines suggested by the Board. By a letter dated May 11, 1'177 from Mr. N. Luczay, a Classification Officer for the Union, the Board was apprised that the parties were in fact able to resolve their differences in a manner that was mutually satisfactory to them. In the result and purusant to the terms of settlement effected by the parties the Board determines that the proceedings in this matter are hereby terminated. In so doing this Board wishes to express its appreciation to both Mr. Luczay, and Mr. R. G. Johnston of the Ministry, for their efforts in amicably and expeditiously resolving this matter.
