Itenson Staff Relations Officer Civil Service Commission Hearing: June 16, 1981 . _ -2- D E c I s IO ?I At the beginning of the hearing in this matter, counsel for the parties requested a recess for the purposes of holding dicussions with a view to settle- ment of the matter. Following the recess, counsel advised the Board that a settlement had been reached between the parties and approved of by the griever. The parties requested the Board to incorRor$te such settlement in its decision of the case; Having regard to the agreement of the Rarties the I decision of the Board in this matter is as follows: 1. Mr. Holowacz (the grievor) shall be Economist 4 (MNR) effective as of the date he ceased to be an Economist 4, as if he never left that position. 2. The grievor shall receive any resulting salary adjustment. 3. The grievor shall be seconded to the Federal Government, National Forest Statistics Unit, Can- adian Forestry Service, where his expertise,will be taken advantage of. -3- 4. Thissecondment will last a minim&n of 2 years, and he has his rights under the Collective Agreement. 5. The grievor will receive relocation costs in accordance with Treasury Soard directives, \ and will receive a week with pay to look for a house.
