IN THE MATTER OF AN ARBITRATION Under THE CROWN EMPLOYEES COLLECTIVE BARGAINING ACT Before THE GRIEVANCE SETTLEMENT BOARD Between: OPSEU (Bealeset al) Grievor, - And - The Crown in Right of Ontario (Ministry of Health) Employer. Before: For the Grievor: For the Employer: Hearing: M. G. Mitchnick Vice-Chairman J. Solberg Member A. Stapleton Member M. Ruby Counsel Gowling 5 Henderson Barristers 5 Solicitors L. McIntosh Law Officer Crown Law Office Civil Ministry of the Attorney General November 24, 1981 , r DECISION For the reasons given at the hearing, it is the finding of the Board that the above-referenced grievances are still outstanding before the Board, and were not "disposed of" by the decision rendered in Hirst -9 0607/81, which was issued July 27, 19.97. Those matters were, however, consolidated, whether by direction of the Board or on the consent of the parties, on March 27, 1986. Since that date two more grievances dealing with the same classification have arisen, and are now before the Board. Those cases are Vernackt, 0639/06 and Gooding. 0039/06, and involve the same facility (in St. Thomas) as the Beales case (0606/81) which was before the panel today. In the circumstances, the parties have expressed a desire to confer on the most expeditious manner of proceeding with all of the outstanding grievances, and will be making their submissions to the Registrar in writing.
