The parties agree to the following~facts:
1. On October 27, 1985, the Grievor worked a
total of thirteen'(13) hours due to the
time ch~ange from Daylight Savings Time
to Eastern Standard Time.
2. The Grievor's regular shift for that day
would have been twelve (12) hours.
'3%. The Grievor has not been paid the ~overtime
rate on the shift premium for the said
thirteenth hour of work.
On consent, the Board orders as follows:

1. For this and all existing grievances, the Parties
shall interpret and apply henceforth the

Collective Agreement to provide for overtime
to be paid where an extra hour is worked by
reason. of the time change in the fall.

2. Further, only hours actually worked during
~'~ the spring time change shall be paid.

3. The Grievor shall be paid one hour of
overtime plus shift premium for the hour
worked on October 27, 1984.
4. For any further shift where Mr. Irwin
works one hour more than his regular
shift period as a result of the time change
to Eastern Standard Time in the fall, he
will be paid overtime plus shift premium
for that hour.
5. For any future shift where Mr. Irwin
works one hour less than his regular shift
period as a result of the time change to
Daylight Savings Time in the spring, he
shall be paid only for the number of hours'
actually worked.
